This is like tasty morning oatmeal but better. It might look a little gross but tastes so good!
You can either use the batter from Katrina’s no bake lactation cookies and mix in with yogurt, bananas & other extra ingredients or mix together:
- Oatmeal (instant works too) Organic is best. Or you could grab THIS brand that has both oats & flax!
- Peanut butter
- Coconut oil
- Coconut flakes
- Yogurt or frozen yogurt
- Coconut / almond or favourite milk.
- Flax seeds
- Brewer’s yeast
Any and all of the ingredients are optional. Play around until you find a mix you enjoy.
You can mix or blend this. I like to just mix it all together.
For this mix I used a portion (what would be the size of a cookie) of Katrina’s batter & mixed into 1/2 cup of frozen yogurt with a whole banana.
If you are wanting to mix from scratch for a single serving I’d say:
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 full banana mashed or puree
- splash of milk of choice
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tsp of coconut oil
- 2 tsp raw sugar or honey
- 1-2 tsp of raw cacao or cocoa powder
- 1 tsp ground flax seeds
- 1/4 cup (or however much you’d like) smooth peanut butter
- (any additional add-ins)
