This blend is the best kind of aromatherapy to me. It smells so warm and delicious. Not only that but the Wild Orange Oil is actually very beneficial for things like anxiety, relieving tension and nervousness, aiding with insomnia and sleep problems as well as helping to uplift your mood.

I Used:

  • Epsom Salts
  • doTERRA’s Wild Orange Essential Oil
  • Pure Vanilla Extract
  • Optional: I also added in a few calendula petals and rose leaves as well.
  • Optional: A few drops of yellow and red

For 1 cup of salts, add a couple drops of wild orange and a few teaspoons of vanilla. The wild orange is very strong and takes over quite quickly, so use sparingly.

What else you’ll need:

  • Mixing bowl
  • spoon
  • airtight jar(s)
  • funnel

Starting out with your desired amounts of salts in a mixing bowl, drop in a few drops of the orange oil & then your vanilla. Try to put the vanilla in different areas of the bowl to not drowned out any section of the salts. You can also add a few drops of India Tree’s Natural Colourant to make the Orange colour.

Mix until everything is evenly combined. Spoon into your container(s) – Because the vanilla dampens the salt, they may harden up a bit, I just shake the jar or stir them back up if this happens.

To Use:

I like to put mine in an organza baggie to not clog up the drain since I added in extra petals. If yours is plain salts and oils, you can just add a few spoonfuls into the tub. The oils could make the tub a bit slippery, so just be careful when getting out.

Soak, relax & enjoy. <3
