All natural relief from colds, flu, sinus infection, & congested nose. A super quick & easy steam to help alleviate symptoms.

Healing Steam – Cough, Cold, & Stuffed up Noses
What you’ll need (& I will post both ways to create this) :

Method #1

  • A large bowl
  • Boiled water
  • Peppermint / Peppermint oil
  • Camphor oil
  • Eucalyptus / Eucalyptus oil

OR if you don’t have these ingredients laying about the house then an easy alternative is:

Method #2

  • A large bowl
  • boiled water
  • Peppermint tea bag (I’ve use Tetley Pure Peppermint)
  • Vicks® VapoRub®

*Please* be sure, your bowl is safe for boiled water, if it’s not then only heat the water until it’s steaming.

Method #1

Put about 5 drops of each oil in the bottom of the bowl, pour in the steaming water, mix, then with a towel over your head to create a ‘tent’, hover over the bowl inhaling the steam. (be sure the steam isn’t so hot that it may burn your face) I like to keep my eyes closed because the camphor and peppermint can make them water.

Method #2

Rub some Vicks® VapoRub® around the bottom of the bowl, toss in a peppermint tea bag and add the steaming water. Then with a towel over your head to create a ‘tent’, hover over the bowl inhaling the steam. (be sure the steam isn’t so hot that it may burn your face) I like to keep my eyes closed because the camphor and peppermint can make them water.

HAPPY HEALING.

Remember, my advice is not intended to replace that of your medical practitioner, always seek professional medical advice if you are very ill.
