Lemon Sugar (with video)

Give your sugar a flavor boost with this easy lemon sugar recipe. That glistening sugar gets tossed with lemon zest, for a delicate lemon flavor.

Lemon Sugar

Such a simple way to get the most out of your lemons. Just remember to zest the lemons before slicing. You can use a cheese grater (use the fine grating section) to remove the lemon zest. Try not to grate the white pith layer, which is bitter. A sharp vegetable peeler may also be used. Another method, is to use a very sharp pairing knife and carefully remove pieces of the zest. Once you have removed most of the zest on the lemon, you can finely chop it.

The oils from the lemon zest soak right into the sugar. Which adds such a great taste to the sugar. It smells Amazing!
